Chicago fights rise in teen murders

In Chicago there have been more than 50 deaths involving gunfire between students and gang members. Chicago civilians are afraid to go out their own house. Even school transportation is dangerous. Buses have been dubbed " Operation Safe Passage." This is seriously extreme. The city of Chicago is doing a lot to prevent any more deaths. They have established a curfew for every civilian. For weekdays teens have to be home by 10 and weekdays 11.

I think that if murder rate was this high between gangs and the innocent then I would personally move. I don't understand the hate going on in this area. The measures are so high that the mayor had to set up a curfew. The mayor also had to establish a way to safely transport students.

5 killed in Iowa Shooting

A mother and her four children were murdered in their home in Iowa. Police suspect that the killer used a gun. The suspected killer is said to be a banker. The bank was reported to be missing $560,000, the banker was also the vice president and controller of: Hills Bank & Trust. Sueppel is the accused. At 6:31 a.m. a police dispatch received a message saying to come to the address immediatley. When police arrived they found the door unlocked and five bodies inside. On a nearby highway a car caught on fire supposebly the victims vehicle. The license plate of the suspect was thought to be 501 BLO. Police aren't sure if this is the license plate number of the burnt car.

There are many incidents like this all over the world. A comment on the page was talking about the second amendment. Even if guns were taken, anything can be used as a weapon. The world is still a dangerous place.

Male Nurse Murdered Patients with Insulin

Colin Norris was found guilty for murdering four patients under his care. He was thought of as a serial killer,since he only murdered the weak and elderly. He dosed them with insulin. Insulin is an animal hormone that regulates the sugar take within the body. Norris overdosed the diabetic patients and caused them to go into a fatal coma. Police said that he seemed almost arrogant, since he was very aggressive. Even in court he showed no emotion but admitted he killed the four diabetic women. The patients he killed were well over 75 years of age. One of the victims was Ethel Hall, she slipped into a fatal coma- which Norris predicted, and at age 86 died. At the time of her death " tests later showed about 12 times the normal level of insulin in her blood."
Doris Ludlum, 80, Bridget Bourke, 88, and Irene Crooks, 79, were similar cases. Not only was Norris convicted for those four murders but also an attempted murder of Vera Wilby, 90.

Collin Norris scares me. Not only did he carefully pick the people he was going to kill but he made sure they died. Now I am sort of afraid of hospitals. There are so many horrid people in the world now hospitals aren't even safe.
