A plant that flowers itself to death?! Well, it is true. In a limestone farm a huge palm tree taller than a six story building, and as wide as 1.5 feet was found. A French couple were stopped in their tracks by the size of this majestic tree. They found this tree in Madagascar. After this humongous plant produces hundreds of flowers nectarine, the flowers get pollinated and turn into fruit which kill the palm. The scientific name of this plant is Tahina spectabilis in the language of Madagascar it means " blessed ".
This is a really extraordinary discovery. It only it didn't die after giving birth. This shows that scientists are getting closer to the mysterious world of plants.
