Michael Vick Sentenced to 23 Months in Jail for Role in Dogfighting Conspiracy

link here

Michael Vick, quarter back to the Falcons, was sentenced 23 months in jail for having dog fights on his property. Investigators found about a dozen bulldogs some with injuries, and dogfighting equipment. He admitted to murdering weak bulldogs who could not fight. He apologized to the court but they said apologize to the people who see you as a role model. So he did, he said

"I will redeem myself." He also accepted responsibility for his actions "I'm willing to deal with the consequences and accept responsibility for my actions."His sentence may be shortened due to good behavior, but, if you do the crime you due the time. No exceptions.

He seems sincere but who knows. I do not know how people can use animal's pain to their enjoyment. I grieve for the 6-8 bulldogs who died, and all the animals who have lost their life to the cruelty of their master. I am glad that most of the population is against cruelty to animals.
